How To Apply
Step 1) Pay the non-refundable $20 application fee through our website
Step 2) Fill out the online application form
Contact will be made within one week of receiving your complete application (including the application fee) notifying you of your acceptance to our intensive. We will not consider any incomplete applications.
Payment Procedures: After Acceptance
You will be required to follow one of the options provided: Please note that the currency Addo Platform is basing their payment, will be in usd
Option 1) - Only available for participants interested in the two week Intensive - Pay a non-refundable $100 deposit to secure your spot in the Two Week Intensive (July 22nd - August 3rd). This deposit must be paid within a week of your acceptance; if the deposit is not received within this time frame, your spot will be considered available for another dancer - unless agreed before hand. The remaining balance of the two week workshop fee will be due three weeks upon submitting your deposit. Further instructions for paying this balance will be sent once the deposit is received. If the balance is not paid by the deadline, your spot will no longer be secured and may be offered to another dancer.
Option 2) Pay the full balance of workshop fee that you are interested in attending [Week One, Week Two or the full Two Week Intensive], to secure your spot. This payment must be made within three weeks of your acceptance; if the payment is not received within this time frame, your spot will be considered available for another dancer.
Cancellations between January 1st and May 1st:
If we can find someone to fill your spot, you will receive a full refund of the tuition fee, minus the a deposit & application fee ($120).
If unable to find a replacement, there will only be a tuition fee refund of 40%, minus the deposit & application fee ($120).
Cancellations after May 1st:
For any change of plans, we ask that you notify us of your cancellation as soon as possible.

Guy began dancing with the Batsheva Ensemble in 2001 and joined the Batsheva Dance Company in 2004, where he worked with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, and Yasmeen Godder. He also created ten original short pieces for Batsheva’s annual Dancers Create evening. In 2013 he served as Ohad Naharin’s assistant for the creation process of The Hole and in 2015 for the creation of Last Work. In 2015 Guy again served as assistant to Ohad Naharin, setting his work Minus 16 on the Nürnberg Ballet and Ballet Zurich. Guy has been teaching Gaga internationally since 2002.
Yaniv Abraham started dancing in Karmi Machol Karmiel, a folk dance academy and company, and he continued his training from 1999-2001 at the Mate Asher School of Performing Art (MASPA) alongside the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company on Kibbutz Ga’aton. In June 2001 he joined Batsheva Ensemble and in February 2003 was promoted to Batsheva Dance Company, where he danced until July 2010. While with Batsheva, Yaniv performed works by artistic director Ohad Naharin, house choreographer Sharon Eyal, and guest choreographer Mats Ek.
Nicolas Ventura was born in Guatemala, and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, followed by joining Batsheva Dance Company - The Young Ensemble. Since 2015, Nicolas has worked with choreographers such Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Roy Assaf, Idan Sharabi.
Nicolas has created original choreographic works on dance companies, television shows, and his own projects. He has also created short works for young artists seeking to go to dance conservatories / colleges such as the The Juilliard School and the University of Southern California. He now continues to develop himself as a dancer, creator, and teacher. Nicolas leads classes and workshops for the dance community internationally.
Hugo was born in 1987 in Portugal. He started Hip-hop dancing at the age of 11 joining, 3 years later, the Academia de Dança Contemporânea de Setúbal, where he graduated in 2006. Marmelada has been working since with various dance companies and choreographers such as Compagnie Alias, Amanda Miller, André Mesquita, Ariadna Montfort, Bounce Streetdance Company, Oslo Dance Ensemble and the Norwegian National Ballet. With It Dansa Company he performed works by Ohad Naharin, Jiří Kylián, Rafael Bonachela, among others; With Company Carte Blanche he performed works by Hooman Sharifi, Sharon Eyal, Crystal Pite, and more. Hugo joined Batsheva Dance Company in 2017 and is currently dancing with them
Margarida is a freelance dance artist working mainly in London, UK. She has worked with company´s such as Jean Abreu Dance, James Cousins Company and Company Chameleon.
Co Director of Addo Platform with Nicolas Ventura, the team has launched this new artistic Platform in January 2018 with the purpose of creating new artistic communities and build new opportunities for artists.
Alvin is a certified Gaga teacher, photographer and dance artist based in Toronto, Canada. He completed the Gaga Teacher’s Training Course in 2018 under the artistic direction of Bosmat Nossan. During the course, he participated in Gaga intensives and took company classes at Batsheva Dance Company under the artistic mentorship of Ohad Naharin.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Organizational Studies specializing in Finance and Administration at Western University, Canada. His work has been featured in numerous shows including International Dance Day, Toronto’s Original Choreographer’s Ball, Toronto Fringe Festival, Nuit Blanche Toronto. Alvin also produces dance events including “Short Dances”, Night Swim, The Workshop Room and Special Gaga/People & Gaga/Dancers classes in Ontario.
